We’re proud to highlight three neighborhood partners that are enacting positive change around 17th and Girard:
William Harris
Longtime resident William Harris has been Block Captain for over a decade, working to make the area safe and clean for the residents as well as serve as a go-between for the city and neighbors.
Sharmin Knight
A neighbor of the Prep since 2010, Sharmin Knight is bringing her passion for public health and community together at Sweat Cycle Studio, a community wellness space that provides perks for 19121 residents.
SWAG Soccer
The SWAG provides young athletes with professional soccer coaching in a fun setting at no cost, accelerating skills development and creating an alternate path compared to football or basketball. Since 2022, the Prep has served as an indoor home for SWAG Soccer.
