“In this first class alone, we have a surgeon who has worked with children suffering with difficult cancers, priests who have worked as missionaries to work with those who are marginalized, athletes who have achieved the highest measure in their sport, the man ‘who built Washington D.C.,’ and several legends who impacted generations of Prep graduates,” says President John Marinacci. “It is truly an illustrious group and we could not be more proud to honor them.”
Nominations were solicited from alumni and then presented to committees consisting of alumni, faculty, staff, and administrators. These committees then submitted names to Mr. Marinacci who made the final selection for the 2023 Induction Class. Nominations for the 2024 Class will be solicited in the fall of 2023.
The hall is housed on the first floor of Villiger Hall in the J. Anthony Hayden ’62 Hall of Excellence, a gift of the Hayden Family in memory of Tony who exemplified the characteristics that the Hall celebrates.
